The silver screen

Metallic make-up is set to make a welcomed return to beauty this spring (did it ever really go away?) and while holidaying in Florida I found the perfect nail polish to ease myself into the trend. It's called 918 Silver Screen, $5, by one of my favourite make-up brands, Revlon. It is thick, long-lasting and the shiny metallic finish reminds me of Minx (which costs a cool £35 per manicure BTW). So far I can't find it in the UK online but will check with the PRs on my return.

Sun hopeful

My Christmas present from Clarins, a white leather toiletry bag, is being put to good use while I'm in Florida. It's thankfully big enough to look after ALL my holiday essentials, including my suntan cream. Now all I need is more sun!

Christmas Mulberry

The Mulberry for Target range launched in the US two months ago, so imagine my delight when I spotted my local St Petersburg's Target in Tampa had a small selected of the bags left! Merry Christmas to me and all for under £30!

Yum - this fabulous biscuit is from the lovely nailgirl founders Jo and Lynn! My nails will be painted in the nailgirls shade Blue – a rich metallic navy – all over Christmas.

You can never have too many fragrances - right?

Some say my perfume collection is getting out of hand. Well what do you expect for over 15 years worth of collecting?! Now I just need to find space for the remaining box full which I am still yet to unpack...

Yum! To help celebrate his new John Galliano Parlez-moi d’Amour fragrance I was very lucky to receive these designer macaroons. Forget the diet - these macaroons were unsurprisingly yummy.

Diptyque's 30th Anniversary launch

Diptyque are launching a new fragrance to celebrate their 50th anniversary called 34 Boulevard St Germain - after the address of the original Diptyque boutique in Paris. It will launch in March 2011 and its quite simply, stunning. Check out this amazing display at the launch. The candles and room sprays are set to be a huge hit too.
