Givenchy and Estée Lauder showed off their delectable A/W make-up collections this week and they were almost…almost, enough to make me wish for the colder months. Here is a small sneak preview.

Too good to eat?
Imagine my delight when I opened a Harrods delivery only to set eyes on these red lipstick biscuits, baked by The Biscuiteers. As a lipstick junkie with a passion for sugar, I was in heaven!
Thank you to Harrods, who are hosting their Red Lipstick Day to support the cancer charity Look Good…Feel Better on the 27th May. Buy these biscuits in their ‘I was to eat everything in here’ food hall from the 24th and half of the £7.75 price tag will go to charity.
It’s a charitable excuse to indulge your sweet tooth!

Italian charm
Oh how I love beauty products with vintage glamour and retro charm, and these new fragrances exclusively launching into Harvey Nichols in June have both. I am hooked on their simple classic bottles and retro photography covered packaging – how lovely are the small sample size matchboxes? Each fragrance captures the emotions and memories of the perfumeriers time in Italy – I already love Cortina with notes of fresh green ivy leaves, violet, earthy vetiver and magnolia. It’s fresh like snow on a sunny winter’s day – just divine.

A/W calling
For their A/W make-up collection, out in August, Clinique enlisted the help of artist Nuno Da Costa to create some stunning watercolour paintings to match their new season make-up. The main emphasis is on eyes; long lashes, bold lines and soft smoky colours. Nuno worked with the make-up samples to make sure he got the right colours and tones in each painting. I just went to the launch – here are my sneak preview pictures.
